Ontario Diving

WHAT ONTARIO HAS TO OFFER!

Plagued with six months of winter, one would think that Ontario had nothing to contribute to the sport diving community. Wrong! Some of the world's best freshwater diving can be found just a stone throw away (not literally!) from your front door.

With a rich marine history coupled with numerous shipwrecks littering its waters, Ontario's shipwrecks serve as time capsules of an earlier era gone by. The cold fresh waters of Ontario aids in preserving these treasures in prestine condition, some well over a hundred years old.

Shipwrecks are just a drop in the bucket with what Ontario has to offer.

Scuba divers can do interesting wall dives in the Muskokas, scuba upstream under waterfalls in the Kawartha's, dive the incredible caverns and caves (proper training permitting) while admiring the fossilized coral reefs of the Niagara escarpment in Tobermory, dive with the tranquil Beluga whales of the St. Lawerence or seek out the elusive giant fantail goldfish in a local quarry!

Beauty, history, adventure... Ontario... Yours to Discover.
