Interview to "Sport-express"after her victory in Cup of Russia: Q. - Say more about Your life in USA. Two years ago You had the possibility to travel there with Viktor Kudriavtsev, but didn't make up Yours mind... Vika - It was very hard at first time. First two weeks were full of tears. I was phoning to my parents and cried with a receiver. My mother told me "Two calls of such kind, and You'll back home". She also cried of me for the whole nights. But later I got accustomed to my new life schedule. Finally I've got friends. I spent with them all my free time. Russian family I live in is very nice to me. Great thanks to Oleg: instant trainings helped to forgot that I'm in USA. So now it's much better. Q. - What was the reaction of Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin on Your appearance in Vasiliev's group? New skater also requires a lot of coach's attention! Vika. - At first something like jealousy existed. But later Oleg found the way of our reconsilement: he scheduled our work on ice in different hours. Now it's all OK: we work together and very happy of it. We even cheer for each other during various competitions. |
